I wanted to illustrate a song from a popular french singer, Michel Polnareff, released in 1968. 

It tell the love story between a simple man and an aristocrate who keep  their affair secret because of their different social position. The girl is promised to someone else and the guy become deadly jalouse. He kills her fiance and is sentenced to death by hanging, claiming his only regret is not to be able to murder the next one.
